Andy’s History 1950’s
1950: Andy’s offers interstate services to the western United States. International moving services also established for twelve countries.

1956: Andy’s associates with Lyon Van Lines to offer direct services to all 48 continental states.

1957: International services expanded to all countries except “Iron Curtain” countries.

1958: 16,000 square feet of warehouse space added, making 24,000 total square feet. Safe-T-Vault dust free storage method adopted.

 

Andy’s History 1960’s
1961: Andy’s terminates can line agreement with Lyon and joins King Van Lines. Nationwide long haul fleet established offering services in an Andy’s truck to all 48 continental states.

1963: New construction of an additional 8,000 square foot warehouse increases total warehouse space to 32,000 square feet. First long haul diesel sleeper tractors added to fleet, reduction transit times.

1964: Joe Kroening, son of owners, starts management apprenticeship. Commercial warehouse and distribution operation started.

1967: Expansion into high value products and transportation started. Specialized equipment with lift gate logistic controls and air ride suspensions placed into service.

 

Andy’s History 1970’s
1971: Andy’s terminate agreement with King Van Lines and joins world leading northAmerican Van Lines. Direct service is now available to all continental United States, Canada, Alaska and Northwest Territories.

1973: Services now offered to the entire world including the “Iron Curtain” countries via the Pepsi Trade Agreement.

1975: Andy’s records first of six 1000% revenue growth years. Vehicle fleet and personnel greatly expanded.
